Drum Roll, Please...Ta Da!

Drum roll, please….. Ta Da!  Does anything look different to you here on our SMC Women blog?

It’s simple and that’s the way we want to make things because often our days and lives are quite complex.  We know you probably already have a full calendar, complex relationships and hundreds of decisions to make, as you work at your job, take care of your home and family, uber kids around, attend meetings and try to fit in time to exercise and do things you enjoy with the people you like and love.  And if you’re like me, you NEED time to recharge.  You need time to put your phone down, sit down, take a breath, be still and know God is God.  If you’re like me, you need to relax and spend time with Jesus.  That does NOT want to be the last thing on my to-do list or something I’ll do only if I have time at the end of the day.

So, us writers here on our blog, understand the need and desires each of us have (but often neglect) to make time for yourself.  One of those ways, we hope is for you to be encouraged each week when we share some stories and hopefully something to reflect and ponder in the middle of your daily craziness.

With this new look, we’ve added a few new features and some will stay.  Here’s what stays:

* Most weeks of the year a new post of encouragement each Wednesday.

*You can subscribe to receive reminders on your phone or by email each week (if you haven’t already done that).

* You can comment on posts as you are led.

Here’s what new and coming:

*A clean and simple look

*A calendar to see upcoming SMC Women eventrs (coming soon!)

* Greater connection to SMC Women's Ministry Social Media outlets

* Exciting videos.

*AND SO MUCH MORE!

We hope the stories written and told, and events SMC Women host are times when you get a lift, a rejuvenation and a moment for YOU to relax.  May this be an source for you to feel joy while being in the presence of our Lord!

Lord, “You will show me the way of life, granting me the joy of your presence and the pleasure of living with you forever”  (Psalm 16: 11 NIV)

 Join us, share with us, worship and praise with us!

Be inspired. Be honest. Be YOU.
